William Peter "Yankee" Labrosse

William Peter Labrosse left this world on August 10, 2026 at the age of 84 years young.. He was born in Hoboken, New Jersey, to John and Lorraine (Noon) Labrosse. He lived in NJ until the late 1980s when he relocated to Lufkin, Texas, where he spent the remainder of his life. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Labrosse of Hackensack, NJ; son Jason Labrosse of Chicago, Il; sister Linda Smelley and her husband Edward of Lufkin, Tx; sister Gail Tsamasitiotis and her husband Nick of Maywood, NJ: brother John Labrosse and his wife Deborah of Hackensack, NJ: granddaughter Amy Rae Dadamo of Washougal, WA; grandson Zachary Dadamo of Hillsdale, NJ; and longtime companion Linda Standley of Lufkin, Tx; and many nieces and nephews.

Billy "Yankee" was mischievous, young at heart and full of life.  He truly enjoyed dancing and music of all kinds, from '50s doo-wop, rock n' roll, country & western to Pavarotti. He enjoyed going to hear his favorite performers over the years.  He was a fan of cars, owning many over the years as proprietor of his own auto body shop. His family and friends have many funny stories to share revolving around cars. He was later co-owner of Deep Sea North fish market in Westwood.  He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
