Timothy Wayne Taylor

September 14, 1963 — April 25, 2025

Lufkin

Timothy Taylor, at 61 years of age, went to be with the Lord on April 25, 2025, surrounded by many loved ones. Those loved ones being his wife, sons, daughters, and grandchildren, as well as the many family members that came to visit him during his last days.

Tim was born September 14, 1963, in Manilla, Arkansas to Billy and Joyce Taylor. He was the younger brother to C.J. Taylor and Tammy Bolien. After living part of his life in Arkansas, Tim eventually made his way to Lufkin, Texas where he met his wife, Brenda. The two began to build a life together. As time passed, they had 2 sons, Tommy and Zachary. Tim made a career out of doing underground utility work for Ray Davis Construction, eventually turning into Long's Underground and then ended that career at Pro-Tech Utilities. No matter the job, hard work was his life. He worked tirelessly for many years providing for his family and strived to be the best Husband and Father he could be. Being a man of few words, he never met a stranger and loved harder than anyone you have ever known. He loved to hunt, fish, play 42 and chess occasionally, spend time in Alto with Uncle Jesse, and as much time as he could with his family.

Being that man of few words, you would never find the words can't, give up, or quit in his vocabulary. If he set his mind on doing something, then he would find a way to accomplish whatever that was, no matter the cost. Even until the moment he took his last breath on this earth and in turn, immediately took his first breath in his forever Heavenly home, he continued to fight and wanted everyone to know that he never gave up. This was something that he instilled in both of his sons, daughters, and especially all 4 of his grandchildren.

Tim is survived by his wife Brenda, sons Tommy and Zachary, daughters Brittany and Lani, 4 grandchildren Riley, Kenzley, Jace, and Olivia, Sister-in-law Glenda Wilcox, Aunts, Uncles, and so many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Billy and mother Joyce.

A memorial service will be held for Tim at 10:00am on June 14, 2025, at Largent Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas.

Our family would like to extend a welcome to anyone who wants to attend the service.
