Sharon Ditchfield

Sharon “Sha” Wynell (Penny) Ditchfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She was born on November 23, 1940 in Houston, Texas to Effie Wynonia Vacula and Fred Penny. She is survived by three of her children, Jerry Dale Roth, Wynonia Gaylyn Kinsley and Blake Houston Roth, her brothers Gary Plant and Steve Vacula, and her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter Shelly Wynell Roth, her mother Wynonia Vacula and her sister Neta Aldrich. Sha lived her life fully and enjoyed her many ventures throughout Houston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Black Hawk Co. and East Texas. A celebration of life will be held in her honor in May, 2025.
