Peggy Dunn

Peggy Benson Dunn was born in Elkhart, Indiana to Walter Benson and Vernie Hurst. She died at Parkwood Place Nursing Home with daughters Marianne Wright and Cindy Murray by her side. She married and moved to the Fuller Springs Community to raise her 3 kids. Her best friend (Vernell Havard) and her decided to go into nursing. After attending Angelina College, she went to work at Memorial Hospital and then Texas Home Health.  She met the love of her life Johnnie Dunn and his three children and was married for 46 years until his sudden death one year ago. They made their final home on Toledo Bend Lake in Milam, Tx. where they loved to fish.

Survivors: Son: Russell Gibson (Sharon)-Ruidoso, NM  Daughters: Marianne Wright-Huntsville,Tx. Cindy Murray (Tony)- Huntington, Tx.  Stepdaughters: Laurie Gabehart (Kelly)  Amy Miller (Dwayne)- Huntington, Tx. Stepson Chris Dunn (Gina) Cedar Park, Tx.  Several grandchildren and great grandchildren she dearly loved.

Preceded by: Husband, Johnnie Dunn, Parents Walter Benson, Vernie Hurst and George Hurst (stepfather) Brother Arthur Benson Son in Law: Tommy Wright.

 Cremation thru Lufkin Memorial Chapel was her request with no viewing or Memorial.
