Patricia Lee Green

August 12, 1951 — September 12, 2019

Patricia Lee Stone Green Born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on August 12, 1951 to James and Virginia Stone. Pat grew up in Athens and Port Arthur Texas and graduated Thomas Jefferson High School in 1969. The second of seven children she is survived by her brothers and sisters, daughter Virginia Marie Green and her soul mate Ashley Griffin, her step children, her grandchildren and her precious BeBe girl. Pat was a very vivacious person who never met a stranger. She loved dogs, flowers, children and most importantly her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents James H. and Virginia C. Stone; her husband and the love of her life Frankie Bedford Green. Up until the end she had a smile on her face and a joke to be shared. Pat was an amazing sister and an even better friend. We have been blessed to witness the works of God in Pat these last several years. She never gave up and survived when we thought she had been called home earlier. But Pat hadn’t had the final word on that matter and she returned to be with us. The last and final call came late evening, September 12th 2019. Surrounded by her family she slipped into the arms of Jesus. I am sure the first words she heard were “Well done my good and faithful servant.” Memorial contributions can be made to Women’s Shelter of East Texas or Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin.
