Mary Ann Sommers

It’s with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Mary Ann Sommers of Nacogdoches Tx on July 19, 2025. Mary passed in her sleep at the age of 70. She was born in Jackson County, Ohio on September 19, 1954. She was a wonderful mother and friend to anyone that had the pleasure to get to know her. She was a devoted loving mother that sacrificed to provide for her children. Her favorites things to do was gardening and spending time with her family. She is survived by Jennifer and Jim Bailey, Ricky and Laurie Maxfield, and Aaron Maxfield and her grandchildren Morgan Bailey, Cameron Bailey, and Alace Maxfield. She is also survived by her siblings; Rose Snyder, Geneva Green, and Clark Sharp as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She will be terribly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, son; Jason Maxfield and siblings; Robert Strickland and Jane Strickland. She will be terribly missed.
