Martha was a wonderful sister, wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and above all, a faithful servant of God. She was a hard-working woman whose gentle spirit and generous heart touched the lives of everyone she met. Always ready to give whatever she could to those in need, Martha was the heart of her family. Her cooking brought everyone together, and her home was always filled with warmth, music, laughter, and love.
She is survived by her precious baby sister: Gloria Garcia, husband, Jose Capetillo, and their four children: Joseph Capetillo, Veronica Capetillo, Daniel Capetillo, and Samuel Capetillo, each of whom she loved deeply. She was immensely proud of her nine grandchildren: Yvette Razo, Michael Guerra, Angel Capetillo, Lesley Capetillo, Charlie Capetillo, Dazzlyn Guerra, Daniel Jr. Capetillo, Lily’Anah Capetillo, and Isaac Nieves Capetillo; and adored her four great-grandchildren: Sofia E. Guerra, Mia M. Guerra, Azihkai F. Capetillo-Farfan, and Fabian Capetillo-Rojo.
Martha will be remembered for her girly charm, her love of the color purple, her joy in music, and her playful, youthful spirit. She loved to joke and laugh, a gift she passed on to her children and grandchildren. With her open heart and kind soul, she was a friend to many — always ready to listen without judgment.
Martha’s legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
We know she has been accepted with open arms by our Father, and is rejoiced in being reunited again with her parents whom she never stopped loving and siblings she always talked to through prayer.
