Lois Ann Jackson

Lois Ann Jackson, born on September 29, 1940, in Champaign, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026, in Lufkin, Texas. A cherished wife, mother, and friend, Lois leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love that will continue to resonate in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald L. Jackson, who is 86 years old and currently resides in Rye, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with joy and companionship. Lois is also survived by her devoted son, Todd E. Jackson, aged 64, and her caring daughter, Toni J. Seay, aged 61, both of whom are residents of Texas. The family finds solace in the numerous feline companions with whom Lois shared her home and affection.

Lois was preceded in death by her father, Leon Mathew Lindeman, her mother, Rachel Virginia (Vandiver) Lindeman, and her brother, Richard Earl Lindeman of Huntsville. The impact she had on her family will never fade, as her kindness and enthusiasm for life shaped the lives of those who were lucky enough to know her.

In keeping with her wishes, no funeral will be held; however, a memorial service will take place in Rye, Texas, in the near future, allowing family and friends to honor her memory together. Lois Ann Jackson will be sorely missed, yet her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
