Linda Charlene West, Reeves, passed away peacefully at her home on April 18, 2026. Born on November 2, 1952, in Lufkin, Linda’s vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of many throughout her years.

Linda dedicated more than two decades of her life working for Brookshire Brothers, where her commitment and warmth left an indelible mark on colleagues and customers alike. Known for her outgoing personality, she took immense joy in nurturing her plants, spending time fishing, camping, and cherished trips to Walmart, showcasing her simple pleasures in life.

A devoted mother and family woman, Linda deeply loved those closest to her. She is lovingly remembered by her son Louis Havard and his wife Katrina Havard, as well as her daughter Tammy Wagnone. Her sister Elaine Seward, and brothers Carl Stanford and Robert French, along with his wife Debbie Standford, also remain part of her enduring family circle. Her legacy continues through numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who carry forward the love and joy she so freely gave.

Linda’s life was marked by both joy and sorrow, having been preceded in death by her daughter Dawn Havard, her mother Laverne Stanford, and brothers Arron Stanford and Troy Dean Reeves. She was also predeceased by her significant other James Bailey and former husband Gary “Doda” West.

Throughout her life, Linda was a beacon of strength and warmth to all who knew her. Her memory will forever be cherished by family, friends, and all who had the privilege to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a spirit that will continue to inspire.
