Lacy Lahoma Stanley, affectionately known as Lacy, was born on July 4, 1972, in Angelina County, Texas. With an unwavering spirit and a heart full of love, Lacy graced the world with her presence until she peacefully passed away at her home in Hudson, Texas, on May 5, 2025.
Lacy's education journey began at the Diboll School District, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with laughter, kindness, and resilience. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, embracing her role as a stay-at-home mother to her only son, Ruben, who became the light of her life. The bond they shared was remarkable, filled with warmth and mutual admiration.
Those who knew Lacy often remarked on her vibrant personality. She was a beacon of joy, always equipped with a kind word or a heartfelt joke that could brighten anyone's day. Even in her toughest moments, she fought valiantly through challenges, inspiring those around her with her unyielding spirit and infectious laughter.
In her final moments, Lacy was surrounded by love—her cherished son Ruben and her grandchildren were by her side, enveloping her in comfort and warmth. Her passing marks a deep loss, but her legacy of love and strength continues to shine through the lives she touched.
Lacy is survived by her pride and joy, son Ruben Magnum; her aunt Alfred (Miss Billie) Robinson of Diboll, TX; cousins Marnie Robinson of Lufkin, TX, Marla Robinson-Rosales of Diboll, TX, Jimmy Robinson of Huntington, TX, and Jacob Robinson of Diboll, TX; as well as her beloved Aunt Shirley Wilson of Fuller Springs. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, including John Wilson Jr, Michael Wilson, Tamesha Wilson-Reyes, and Jerrod Wilson.
