John Samuel Young, 63, of Pollok, came to the end of life's journey August 22,2024 at 6:18 p.m. John was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. His greatest joy was fishing and woodworking.
Born February 9,1961 to Alton and Dorothy (Russ) Young. He is survived by wife Katherine Deneise (Dee Cathey) Young, sons Samuel Young of Palestine, and Lucas Young of Midland. Grandchildren: grandson, Jayson Fondren of Lufkin; granddaughters Bayley Fondren of Lufkin, Dusti Young of Athens and Elorra Young of Palestine. Mother of his children Evelyn Young of Jewett.
John had a beautiful soul that will be missed by many.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
