Jerry Clyde Riley was born on March 3, 1969, in Lufkin, Texas. He died in Del Rio, Texas on October 29, 2021. Jerry was a fun-loving family man who adored spending time with his grandkids. He was a jack of all trades but spent most of his time doing construction and mechanic work. Jerry was a God-fearing Christian man. The quote "He was wild but always a saving grace." describes him perfectly. He would be the first to give you the shirt off his back. Jerry was always the life of the party. He was always clowning around and joking with everyone he would meet. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his wife, Violet Riley; children, Shountel Riley, Bryant Long, Christina Riley, Tasha Riley, Victoria Cox, Brittany Allen, Kelsey Brown; mother, Linda Sanford; siblings, James Riley, John Riley, Jeannie Frusha, Fancy Jordy, Jodi Riley; 18 grandchildren and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Jerry is preceded in death by his dad, Charles Sanford; grandparents, VL Sanford, JI & Hester Beaty, Carl & Dorothy Riley; uncles, Robbie & Vernon Sanford, Jimmy Beaty; and aunt, Carol Sanford Herslowe.
