James E. Molandes of Lufkin, Texas passed away October 13, 2025. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Lufkin Memorial Chapel. Memorial service will be held at a later date. James was born September 7, 1942 in Nacogdoches County to Jessie Molandes and Annie Lou (Manchaca) Molandes. He was a welder and fabricator by trade.

James is survived by his 3 children. Kimberly Molandes of Lufkin, Mark Molandes of Chandler, and Brad and wife Kim Molandes of Lufkin, grandchildren Brandon Lee and wife Jana, Jessica Hall and husband Brendan, Justin Molandes and wife Ashley, Jonathan Molandes, Sydney Molandes, Cameryn Molandes and fiancé Randy Spencer, and numerous great grandchildren; Brother, Tommy Ramos of Nacogdoches.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Jessie and Annie Molandes, grandson Dakoda Lee and sister-in-law Linda Ramos.
