James Levell Hillyer

James Levell Hillyer, a respected business owner and beloved family man, passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on August 26, 1951, James devoted many years to running his own business, where he left a lasting impact both on his community and among those who worked with him.

James is survived by his loving spouse, Glenda Hillyer, whose unwavering support and companionship were a constant source of strength throughout their life together. He is also survived by his children, James Hillyer and Nathan Hillyer, both of whom carry forward his legacy of hard work and dedication. James took great joy in welcoming his daughters-in-law, Karla Hillyer and Jacklyn Hillyer, into the family, appreciating the love and happiness they brought to his sons' lives.

His daughter, Shanna Blalock, along with her husband, Tommy Blalock. James cherished his role as a father and relished the time spent with his children. The bond he had with his family extended to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry his memory forward.
