George H Overton

George Henry Overton 72, of Lufkin, Texas passed away January 3, 2023, in Hemphill, Texas. He was born January 2, 1951, in Saxton, Missouri to parents Louie Lee and Frances Williams Overton. George was employed with Nacogdoches Heating and Refrigeration and retired after 17 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and loved a good game of pool.

George is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Shirley Overton and Virginia Overton.

Survivors include his wife Diane Overton, his children, Tracy Overton, Christy Overton, Amanda Overton and George Overton; Brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Jackie Overton; special friends, Jack and Barbara Nichols, Fay Burgess, Dr. Arthur Jordan, DDS and wife Emily, Dr. A.B. Jordan, DDS and wife Arlene, Barbara Unsell and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
