Passed away Jan. 18,2026 peacefully in his sleep at home surrounded by family and friends. He wad 74 years 5 months 18 days old. He was loved by many and known as Papa.

He is survived by his wife Melissa (lisa) Goynes. Of 23 years.

Sisters Linda and Gary Herndon, Sandra and Jimmy Stobaugh. Brothers Edward Lynn Denton, Darrell Denton. Sons  Dennis Ray Goynes Jr. ,James and Saundra Antley, Bobby and Jessica Goynes, Michael Ray McCurry. Daughters Amanda and Jeff Keys ,Tabitha and Daniel Parham, Gabriella and Katie Helling.  15 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren 4 great grandchildren on the way.He was preceded in death by his Parents Mattie and Edward Denton, Willie Ednar Goynes,son Danny Wayne Goynes and sister Doris Lucille Norton.
