Clara Meredith Blangger

December 2, 1931 — October 2, 2025

Clara passed peacefully in her sleep at home on October 2, 2025. She lived a long full life filled with love, joy and meaningful connections.

Preceding her in death was her loving husband; Al, son; David, grandson; Jeremy, parents; Smith and Maureen Meredith and her in-laws.

Clara was born in Austin, Texas on December 2, 1931. She met and married Albert Blangger, she worked at Tre Cor and some other jobs before they moved to Lufkin, Texas in 1973. Ms. Clara loved watching kids and did babysitting. She appreciated the simple joys of life, a good book, the beauty of the outdoors, music and shared holidays. She loved visiting and found comfort and happiness in the company of family and friends. Clara will be missed and forever remembered by those who lives she brightened over her 93 wonderful years.

Clara is survived by her brother; Carl Meredith, son and wife; Vernon and Mary Blangger, daughter-in-law; Teresa Blangger, special mention; (she raised) Sarah Blangger Lewis and husband Brandon, children Adalynn and Stetson Lewis, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. Clara also had numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11:30 AM on November 8, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church 8319 FM 2021 Lufkin, Tx 75904
