Cheryl Ann Bennett

Cheryl Ann Bennett, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home in Pineland, Texas, on June 3, 2025. Born on September 7, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, Cheryl brought warmth, kindness, and love to everyone who knew her. 

Cheryl was a Christian woman who believed deeply in God and lived her life with faith, love, and compassion. She was the heart of her family and always went above and beyond to care for those around her. She would do anything to help her loved ones, always offering support, comfort, and provision when it was needed most. Cheryl was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ted Bennett, with whom she built a beautiful life and a loving blended family. Together they raised a family full of laughter, strength, and love, including their children: Eric Bennett, Sabrena Socha, Kurt Bennett and his wife Wendy, Charles Gilmore, John Bennett and his wife Michelle, Chance Bennett and his wife Monica, and the late Sandra Johnson.

Cheryl was a proud and devoted grandmother to Quintin Socha and his wife Rachael, Jessika Socha, Avery Bennett, Ryan Bennett, Colby Bennett, Kyndle Bennett, Christa Monceaux, Ona Johnson, Shelby Johnson, and Derek Lozano and his wife Bekki. Her joy only grew with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Seth Johnson, Kira Gibson, Kyrah Gibson, Peyton Lozano, Colton Lozano, Madison Lozano, Victor Monceaux, DJ Monceaux, and Wesley Monceaux. 

One of Cheryl’s greatest joys was gathering her family for home-cooked meals and backyard barbeques—whether to celebrate a birthday or simply for the joy of being together. She was happiest in the kitchen or surrounded by loved ones, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Cheryl will be remembered for her generous heart, deep faith, and the unconditional love she gave so freely. Her spirit lives on in the family she nurtured, the lives she touched, and the traditions she began.
