Chase Michael Baird

Chase Michael Baird, known to his friends and family simply as Chase, began his final adventure on December 4th, 2023, after a courageous battle following an accident. Born on December 7th, 2001, in the town of Lufkin, Texas, Chase's journey through life was one filled with laughter, love, and the occasional fish tale, ending in Dallas, Texas, just shy of his 22nd birthday.

Chase was the kind of guy who could light up a room with his funny wit and charming smile. A true Texan at heart, he graduated with his high school diploma, holding it like a badge of honor and a ticket to countless possibilities. He was the master of the Xbox controller, a fish whisperer, and a man who loved and cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.

He leaves behind a legacy of joy and cherished memories with his mother, Carol Baird, Chase's sisters, Courtney and Caitlin Baird, who taught him that a good laugh could cure almost any woe. His nephew, Cayson Bounds, will no doubt inherit his uncle's knack for mischief and merriment. They will forever miss his uncanny ability to turn the mundane into the extraordinary.

Chase's extended family, including his loving cousins Matt, Tamara, and Graham Raines, as well as his Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Gary Weeks, will remember him as the life of the party, the one who could always be counted on to reel in the biggest fish or score the winning point in a heated game of virtual sports.

While Chase's final curtain call came much too soon, his spirit remains an unforgettable part of the lives he touched. He was a man who lived by the philosophy that you should always leave them laughing, and that he did. Chase's tale may have ended, but the stories of his shenanigans will continue to echo, bringing smiles to faces just as he always intended.
