Cassie Lynn Whitehead

Cassie Lynn Whitehead, of Nacogdoches, Texas, passed away at the age of 43. She was born on April 2, 1983, in Pasadena, Texas, and lived a life defined by love, devotion, and a deep appreciation for the people who surrounded her.

Cassie was a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. She was the devoted mother of her son, Jackson Crowe, who was the greatest joy and proudest accomplishment of her life. Cassie’s love for Jackson was unconditional and unwavering. He was the center of her world, and she found her greatest happiness in being his mother. Every part of her life reflected the deep bond they shared, and she took immense pride in the young man he is becoming.

She is survived by her son, Jackson Crowe; her sisters, Tawyna Griffin, Penny Clark and her husband, Dennis, and Shelly Sistos and her husband, John; her brother, Joseph Whitehead and his wife, Karen; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Ashlie Pair and her husband, Colton, Katelyn Sistos, Mikel Griffin, Hailey Sistos, Conner Whitehead, Paisley Whitehead, and Logan Whitehead.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Theresa Whitehead.

One of Cassie’s greatest gifts was her love of writing. An exceptionally talented writer, she found comfort and purpose in journaling, using her words to capture her thoughts, express her heart, and find beauty in everyday moments.

Though her time on earth was far too brief, the legacy of her love, her words, and the countless memories she created will continue to bring comfort and strength to those who mourn her passing. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
