Obituary

Anthony Wayne Pack February 15, 1987 – May 17, 2026

Anthony Wayne Pack, 39 years young, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Hawkins, Texas.

Anthony was preceded in death by his grandmother, Glenda Jean Pack; his grandfathers, James Edward Pack Sr. and Richard Wayne Frazier.

He is survived by his son, Joshua Wayne Pack; his daughter, Lena Nicole Pack; his mother, Loleta Carney and stepfather, Justin Carney; his father, James Edward Pack Jr. and stepmother, Margaret Pack; his brother, Micheal Pack and sister-in-law, Amy Lumley; his sisters Sarah Bardett and Nina Smith and brother-in-law, Justin Smith; and his grandmother, Helen Frazier; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews extended family members, and friends who loved him dearly.

Anthony worked for several years as an industrial sandblasting painter, a trade he took great pride in and truly excelled at. Outside of work, he enjoyed the simple things in life — fishing, listening to good music, sharing laughs with family and friends, and firing up the BBQ whenever he had the chance.

Anthony will be remembered for his sense of humor, his hardworking nature, and the love he had for his family and friends. Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A Time for Everything

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to tear down and a time to build,

a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,

a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,

a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
