Wanda June Christopher

Wanda June Christopher, born on January 31, 1966, in Houston, Texas to Drew and Ruby Rodgers, peacefully passed away after a short but courageous battle with cancer on April 3, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and cherished friend to many.

Wanda is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Jerry Christopher, her son and daughter-in-law, Andrew and Danielle Christopher, and her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Chaise Wigley, her grandchildren, William Christopher and Harper Wigley, who brought immense joy to her life, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Amelia Kate Christopher.

Wanda's warmth and love extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of numerous others, her bonus kids. In this time of mourning, let us remember Wanda for the love she shared, the laughter she brought, and the lasting impact she made on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Her life was marked by kindness, compassion, and unwavering strength. Wanda's presence brought comfort to those around her, and her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A celebration of Wanda's life will be held at McNutt Funeral Home, 400 S. First St., Lufkin, Texas on Sunday April 14, 2024 at 3 P.M.

May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
