Wanda Christine Crawford

Wanda Christine Bellamy-Crawford was born in Houston, Texas on October 13, 1944, to A.D. and Lois Marie Bellamy. We sang her into the arms of her Savior at Hospice in The Pines Inpatient unit, in Lufkin, Texas on January 30, 2023, at 9:30 P.M.

She was a devoted follower of Christ first and foremost. Followed closely by her commitment to her family and church. She was a Kindergarten Sunday school Teacher for more than 20 years, and one of the best Altos in the choir for just as long. She was a seamstress, cake decorator, painter, and had a blue ribbon in the gift of gab. She worked as a store Manager/Clerk for 20+ years for Lacey and Hollis, and Polk Oil Companies. Everybody knew and loved Ms. Wanda.

She is celebrating her reunion today with her Mother, Lois Bellamy; Father, A.D. Bellamy; Sister, Glenda Joyce Bellamy; Brother, Micheal Daniel Bellamy, and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents.

Wanda is waiting in Heaven for the return of her survivors who include, Sister, Nelda Autra of Etoile, Brother, David Bellamy of College Station. Daughters, Tamela Marie Baker of Diboll and Dana Denise Jones of Lufkin. Grandson, Brandon Turner Baker, and wife Shi’Anna Baker; Granddaughter, Jayna Christine Laney, and Husband Cody Laney; Granddaughter, Michaela Danielle Jones, and Fiancé, Justin Grimes. Great Granddaughters, Melyssa Danielle Laney, Adalie Rose Grimes, and Amelia Denise Grimes and Great-Grand Son, Landen Charles Tullos. There are also many Nieces and Nephews whom she loved like her very own.

We will be celebrating the Heavenly Homecoming of our loving, devoted Mama, Nana, Sister, Aunt, and friend on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11:00 A.M at Parkview Baptist Church located 111 Parkview Circle Lufkin, Texas 75904 with Bro. Daryll Smith officiating.

She will be laid to rest with her Mother, following fellowship at the church, at Zavalla Cemetery. All are welcome to attend.
