Sidney Faye Malmstrom

Sidney Faye Malmstrom, beloved mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully on December 10, 2020, due to natural causes. She was born March 8, 1922, in Eden, Texas to Ollie Mae and Sidney Medders. Sidney was previously married to Louis C. Malmstrom originally from Melvin, Texas. She has many siblings, Mary Jacoby, Jake Medders, Ilene Seal, Rozell Medders, May Ramsey, Gwen Medders, and Viola Wright. Sidney is the last to pass. She was 98 years old. Sidney loved Jesus and was a devout Christian. She also loved dancing. For many years she worked as a secretary in Dade County, Florida school system. This was a perfect fit for her as her strong morals and convictions were an asset in an environment where children were educated. Sidney is survived by her daughter Grace Gilliam and her husband Paul of Texas; son, Gary Malmstrom and his wife Graciela of Philadelphia, PA.; her grandchildren, Paul, Chris, and Matt Gilliam of Texas, Erik Malmstrom and Dana Leahan of Philadelphia, PA.; and great-grandchildren Riley, Erik, Allyson, Harper, and Liam. Private burial services will be conducted on December 16, 2020. Although she is gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
