Nancy B. Chambless was born on March 22, 1950 to Clyde Chambless and Alma Chambless- Frazier. She passed away December 24, 2022 in Jasper, Texas due to health complications.
Nancy lived a quiet, simple life. She had taken administrative classes at Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas. She enjoyed crafting driftwood art and fabric painting. She loved antiques and Native American dolls. Nancy also enjoyed classical country music to the tune of Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and more.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Misty Rife and her husband DJ Rife of Edmond, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Riley, Taylor, Emmett, and Ares, sisters; Sherry Smelser and her husband Dennis Smelser of Morgan Hill, California, Lois Schellenberger and her husband Bill Schellenberger of Cameron, Texas, brother, Clyde T. Chambless and his wife Tasha Chambless, of Onalaska, Texas, nieces and nephews; Joe Nelson, John and Basilia Nelson, Eric and Juanita Smelser, Chrissie Strother, Chandra Sepulvado, and many great nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceeded in death her father Clyde C. Chambless, mother, Alma Lois Chambless-Frazier, sister, Gayle Holm, nephew, Chad Chambless, and grandson, Eoghan Rife.
A memorial service will be held in Texas in June 2023 to accommodate for scheduling and weather. Exact date to be determined. She wished to be cremated and to have her ashes scattered in Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate assistance with funeral costs.
