Larry Hendricks

Larry Hendricks, 69, of Center was born on July 29, 1952, to the late Arvel and Beatrice (Livingston) Hendricks. He passed from this life on July 14, 2022. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a come-and-go visitation on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm in the McNutt Funeral Home Chapel. Larry was a loving brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Larry spent most of his years as a carpenter/upholsterer and worked hard to provide for his family. In his spare time, Larry could be found in front of the TV watching “his shows”- classics like Bonanza and Mash. He loved and adored his grandchildren, and they certainly loved their Poppy. Larry found joy in the mundane and was known to be very quiet and keep to himself; his home was his favorite place to be. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Larry leaves behind his wife of 49+ years, Beverly Hendricks; two children, Gwen and Roberto Rodriguez and Kevin and Charlotte Hendricks; eight grandchildren: Coleman, Chase, Bailey, Kathy, Emily, Tristan, Mikah, and Avery; three sisters: Barbara Renfro, Sheila Eubank, Becky Windham and spouse, David; two sisters-in-law, Beverly Hendricks and Rita Hendricks; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and countless friends. Larry is preceded in death by his daughter, Lesa Davis, his parents; two sisters: Patsy Adams, and Joy Fay Bailey, and four brothers: LaWayne, Jerry, Stanley, and James “Bud” Hendricks; and two brothers-in-law, Herman Bailey, and Jimmy Renfro.
