Kenneth R. Boykin, known affectionately as "Bee" by his family and friends, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on May 28, 2024, in Lufkin, TX. Born on November 21, 1933, in Saron, TX, Bee was the beloved son of the late Nap and Lissie Boykin, and the brother of the late Edith Gray.
Bee was a dedicated family man, deeply loved by his wife of 36 years, Lizzie Boykin. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter in Saron, TX. He was a proud father to his sons, Royce Boykin and his wife Tiuana, and Rodney Dathan Boykin of Zavalla, TX. His joy was multiplied as a grandfather to Sheree Janeska and further blessed with three treasured great-grandchildren.
Professionally, Bee was known for his skill as a heavy industrial crane operator and log truck driver. His commitment and work ethic were paralleled by his active involvement in the Angelina Masonic Lodge #1263 of Zavalla, TX, where he found a brotherhood of lasting friendships.

Those who knew him will remember him as a wise, gentle, and handy, a man who could fix anything and often did so with a smile on his face. Kenneth "Bee" Boykin's enduring legacy is one of warmth, love, and the quiet strength that characterized his life.
