Keith "Shep" Lamb

Keith Lamb Shepard was born December 28, 1959 in Lufkin, Texas to Marcelle Shepard. Keith resided in Lufkin after returning home from college until he went home to be with the Lord on February 10, 2020. Keith was an outstanding athlete. Well known for his dynamic track abilities he was awarded Track All American. After graduating Lufkin High School he attended Northwestern University in Natchitoches, Louisiana and University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas on track scholarships. Keith had a love for all genres of music. He also loved playing drums and guitar. Keith had an extreme love and passion for art and drawing with a focus on portraits. Keith met and married the love of his life Melanie on December 29, 1979. To this union five children were born. Keith leaves to cherish his memories: wife Melanie; two daughters - Jennifer (Jarvis) Lufkin, Texas and Ashley Lufkin, Texas. Two sons Christopher (Shay) The Colony, Texas and Terrance Lufkin, Texas. Brothers Billy Roy (Jeanette) Shepard, W.A. Shepard, Bruce Sr. (Carolyn) Shepard, Ronald Shepard, Donald (Angela) Shepard, Ricky Shepard all of Lufkin, Texas. Brian (Romona) Shepard of Houston, Texas. Sister: Linda Davis and Machelle (William) Smith both of Lufkin, Texas. Grandchildren: MaKayla, JaLexus, Brookelyn, RaMiyah, Aleyah, Cameron, Elijah, Jaiden, and Gabrielle. Great granddaughter: Brylee. Also a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death: Mother, Marcelle Shepard. Daughter, Clarrissa also two brothers Jimmy and Royce Shepard.
