John Herman Maddox

Obituary for John Herman Maddox May 8th, 1953 – August 12th, 2022 John Herman Maddox was born to Willie and Emma Maddox on May 8th, 1953. John was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He developed an interest in military history and the outdoors, becoming a Boy Scout, and was a part of ROTC in high school. He was an avid reader and a proud member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. John married Deborah Ann Maddox on March 30th, 1991. They met at Stephen F. Austin State University after they were introduced to each other through their respective roommates. John is survived by his wife Deborah Ann Maddox; his sons Matthew Drew Maddox, Patrick Henry Maddox, and Charles Edward Maddox; his sister Carolyn Zewe and, his brother William Maddox. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Emma Maddox.
