Sadly, John Bernard Campbell left his earthly home peacefully to be with the Lord Christmas Eve December 24th, 2021 at the age of 66 at his home in Huntington, TX. His funeral will be Thursday December 30th, 2021 at 10 am at McNutt Funeral Home 400 S 1st St Lufkin, TX with interment immediately following at Stryker Cemetery in Corrigan, TX. He will be interned and recognized with full Military Honors. John’s important message to everyone is “Loving one another is the most important thing in Life. Helping one another will see us through to the next life.” John Bernard Campbell was born in Storm Lake, IA and raised in Sac City, IA by his parents Art and Betty Campbell. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Cold War in Germany. He was a very proud man. He met the love of his life Linda Mullican Campbell in Junction City, KS by FT Riley, KS where he was last stationed. They were married September 21st, 1984. On that day he became the man that he didn’t have to be. He became an instant dad to 4 kids. He taught them to help others even when they didn’t have anything themselves. He taught them to work hard and achieve their goals. He spent over 40 years being an over-the-road truck driver. His hobbies were spending time with his family, playing cribbage, fishing and his salvation with the Lord. He is survived by his wife for 37 years Linda Campbell Huntington, TX. His children Michele Conner (Tommy) Lufkin, TX, Son Mike Scuito Zavalla, TX, Sando Scuito Omaha, NE, Aaron Scuito (Mary) Bondurant, IA. His grandchildren John Scuito (Sam) , Jarrett Hall, Colton Scuito, Alexzandria Scuito, Ashton Scuito, Samuel Scuito, Zoe Scuito, Jackson Scuito, Miles Scuito, Cameron Scuito. Great Grandchildren Kura Waller and Gavin Scuito. His siblings brother Al Campbell (Sandy), Sister Charlotte Thorn and brother Bob Campbell. Sister in laws Louise Williams, Dorothy Parker, Betty Green and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Brothers Joe and Billy Campbell, Brother in Laws Nick Thorn, Jim Williams, Ricky Moore, James Spencer and Ray Green. Sister in laws Bonnie Campbell, Wilma Moore, and Irma Spencer. The family would like to extend a special thank you to his Nurse Morgan and Hospice in the Pines, VI Horsemen MC, VFW Post and Auxiliary #1836, American Legion Post #113 and East Texas Patriot Riders for their assistance. The family would also like to thank everyone who helped his family in their time of need with the Benefit for John Campbell and family fundraiser.
