James Roland Wright

On Tuesday afternoon our loving Dad gently passed away. James Roland Wright, 73, of Palestine, Texas was born September 27, 1948, to parents Rosa and William Wright. In his many years of working for the City of Palestine, he made so many friends and never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Wright, his parents William and Rosa Wright, sister Louise Lambright and brothers Billy Jo Wright (peewee) and Jessie Wright. He is survived by daughters, Tammy Wright, Tanya Bailey and Chad Crawford, and Amanda Wright, and son Timothy Wright; brother Rodger Wright; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His happy places besides his family and grandkids and great-grandkids were riding his motorcycle and spending time at the park. A memorial service will take place for the family and friends to pay their last respects. Service information will be forthcoming.
