James Benjamin Davis

James Benjamin Davis,(Pops) age 85, was a 20 year resident of Huntington, Texas. He passed away February 01, 2022. Born July 29th, 1936 in Gladewater, Texas, later James was raised in Dallas,Texas. James was a graduate of Adamson High School and Arlington State College. James is preceded in death by Shirley Ann, his wife of 51 years; his parents, William and Anna Mae Davis; his three brothers, two sisters, and son Richard McClure. He is survived by his sister Ruby Jo Ward,; sons, Micheal and William Bosley, of Huntington Texas; Danny and Todd Bosley, of Dallas, Texas; several grandchildren, and multiple great-grandchildren. Along with an abundance of nieces and nephews. James was a carpenter by trade as well as a singer songwriter. James wrote and sang about his Savior, his family, and the joys and trials of life. James was deeply loved by the four boys he raised as his own who affectionately named him Pops; he will forever be missed.
