Elizabeth Ann (Everett) Brasher, a woman who could sew a button on a shirt faster than you could lose it, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2023, in Lufkin, Texas. Born on December 22, 1958, in Houston, Texas, Elizabeth was a woman who lived life with the same enthusiasm she had for crafting, sewing, and cooking. She was also a woman who loved her dogs with a passion that could only be rivaled by her love for her family and her knack for adventure.

Elizabeth was the kind of woman who could turn a simple piece of cloth into a masterpiece, or a handful of ingredients into a feast. She was a woman who loved her doggies with a fervor that was contagious. If you ever saw her with her dogs, you'd swear she was a dog whisperer. She was also a woman who was always up for an adventure, whether it was exploring a new craft store or trying out a new recipe. She was loving, kind, and adventurous, and she lived her life with a joy that was infectious.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Richard Brasher; daughters, Laura Reynolds and her husband Virgil Ray Reynolds Jr., and Martha Brown and her husband, Robert Brown. She was a proud grandmother to Scott Fink, Blake Dykes, Trinity Dykes, Ireland Reynolds, Nikki Reynolds, Mason Rodriguez, and Janiel Rodriguez. She was also a great-grandmother to Elizabeth Fink and David Fink. She was the sister of Doug and Cheryl Everett, Tammy Matt Wells, and Susan Everett, and she leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Charlotte Everett, her sister, Laura Everett, and her brother, Edward Everett. But let's not dwell on the sad stuff. Elizabeth would want us to remember the good times, the laughter, and the love. She would want us to remember her as the woman who could turn a simple piece of cloth into a masterpiece, or a handful of ingredients into a feast. She would want us to remember her as the woman who loved her family and dogs with a passion that was contagious, and who lived her life with a joy that was infectious.
