Curtis Wayne Whitworth, 52, was born on September 17, 1969, to Grady Sr. and LaQueta Faye (Todd) Whitworth. He passed away on March 21, 2022, in a local hospital. The family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home on Friday March 25, 2022, from 6:00-8:00pm. Cremation will follow with burial of cremated remains in Gann Cemetery at a later date. Curtis was a loving son, father, and grandfather. He was known to some as a talented guitarist and was a member of a band for several years. In addition to music and art, his other passion was his family. Curtis loved his children and was a loving Paw Paw to his 9 grandchildren. He was a friend to so many and will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother; 6 daughters: Amber Whitworth and Justin Kelly, Whitley Whitworth, Lea Lambert and Triston Wilbur, Lexie Lambert and Justin Humphries, Angel Whitworth, and Lacy Whitworth; one son, Levi Banks; 7 grandchildren: Ember, Geraldine, Curtis, Tyler, Scarlett, Opal, Ellie Mae, Oaklynn, and Hayden; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and countless friends. Curtis was preceded in death by his father; 3 brothers: Grady Whitworth, Jr., Albert Whitworth, and Christopher Clyde Whitworth; as well as his beloved fiancée, Lesli Hawkins. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Castle Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation for the excellent care and support they provided to Curtis. Your kindness did not go unnoticed.
