Charles Samuel "Sam" Cain, 58, passed away on February 3, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie Martin Cain. They shared 34 wonderful years of marriage together. Sam was born in Nacogdoches Texas on March 1, 1960. He was the son of Bud & Charlene Cain. He attended Nacogdoches High school (Go Dragons!) and then went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Huntington United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Martin Cain, his children, Ginny Cain, Holly Cain and Jacob Cain, his grandchildren Lexie Flores, Ethan Turner, Aiden Turner, Mason Turner and Adalyn Cain, his siblings Monty & Anna Cain, Charlotte Cain, Neal & Becky Cain and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and grandparents. The family will accept visitors on the evening of Thursday, February 7th from 5-7 at McNutt Funeral Home in Lufkin. We will celebrate the life and heavenly homecoming for him on Friday, February 8th at 10 am in the McNutt Funeral home chapel with Brother Robert Bagget officiating. Internment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Appleby. Pallbearers will be Travis Cain, Bud Cain, Johnny Cain, Robert Cain, Jeffrey Howard, and Adam Cain
