Barron “BL” Lee Bentley, 70, of Lufkin was born on September 17, 1951, to the late Van and Mary (Vestel) Bentley. He passed away on April 15, 2022, at his home. BL was a loving husband, father, and Paw Paw. He spent most of his working life in the woods as a logger. He was a hard worker who took great pride in providing for his family. BL was a long-time, faithful member of Harborlight Church. His humor and hard work ethic are just one part of the legacy BL leaves behind. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sheryl Stanley; sons: Shane and Teresa Stanley and Barron and fiancée Cassandra Shaffer; his daughter, Brandy and fiancée Martin Elias; 4 grandchildren: MaKayla, Landon, Ashlynn, and Cameron; his brother, Roy Bentley; nephews: Randy Bentley, Nathan Bentley, and Steven Harvey; nieces: Donna Sprayberry, Angela Bentley, Connie Sterling, and Rachel Bentley; as well as his best friends, Bubba and Debbie Mills. He is proceeded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Bentley; and sister, Beverly Edwards. Pallbearers include Barron Bentley, Shane Stanley, Randy Bentley, Nathan Bentley, Martin Elias, and Bubba Mills.
